There is a very small civil war battlefield less than five minutes away. We took Hannah on a little hike there. It's very beautiful and peaceful. It's also a little sobering. I think maybe all battlefields have that effect.

Beautiful pictures! I loved our visit to Gettysburg and agree with you regarding the feeling at battlefields.
