The Miller's

There's nothing like an open fire on a winter's day.

After reading all of Sally's blog posts of hot cocoa in the canyons we decided to try it out. The only foreseeable problem with this is that we have no canyons. After a morning of making phone calls I finally found a campground who would let us come for the afternoon. All I have to say is THANK YOU SALLY!!! This was one of our most favorite family activities EVER!!!! The kids went nuts for it.

Saylor helped Jeremy build the fire.

We had lukewarm hot cocoa because there was no grill to go over the fire so Jeremy had to hold the pan over the flames. What a boy scout!

Saylor liked to start her stick on fire and wave it around ( I was in a semi-panic state at this point and the stick was eventually retired.)

There was a playground at the campsite and the kids just played and played (this spider web thing that Saylor is on was pretty awesome)

What a great family activity. We loved it.

Thanks again Sally.
