Reluctant Update

So I've received calls from Tim and Ali, that's a paltry 25% of my siblings. I know I said that I wouldn't post anymore until I heard from everyone, but I am compelled to blog.

I'm still plugging away at work and studying for the UT Bar exam. Everyday, I question myself for deciding to take it, but it's too late now. I'll be in Utah from July 26th to the 31st for the exam. I'm excited to see my sister Ali and her kids - they'll be in UT then too.

Autumn and the kids are doing great (my words, not hers). Saylor is enrolled in a Methodist Bible camp - it's beach themed and I'm jealous. Basically, they read a little bible story and then play for a couple of hours, but it gives Autumn some time with Michael and Eowyn. Saylor has an ongoing fantasy in which she is Alliah, the oldest of 40 siblings who all have names that rhyme...don't ask.

Michael is tragically adorable. Tragic because we feel awful whenever we lose our temper with him. If only I had an ugly child I could yell at and not feel bad afterwards...oh well. He was really bothering me the other day. I was on the bed trying to do some work and he kept trying to climb on me. I told him several times, very nicely, to not climb on me but he wouldn't listen. So I finally yelled, "Michael, get off me!" Then he looked up at me with his big blue eyes and said, "Daddy, I'm just kissing" (meaning he wanted to give me a kiss). Talk about guilt - this kid knows how to lay it on!

Eowyn is growing up so fast! She sits up all by herself and can scoot around on the floor (kind of). She is definitely the most calm VA-Miller of the bunch.

I think we have all the personality colors represented in our little family. Autumn is definitely Blue (I love her so much!), Saylor and I are DEFINITELY Yellow (she is such a goof - she cracks us up everyday), Michael seems like a Red (especially when he's unleashing his wrath upon those who fail to obey his will), and Eowyn is White (although, I'm pretty sure all babies are White...Let's hope she stays that way).

Anyway, that's what we're up to. I'll leave you with a cliff hanger so that you'll have to call.
I interviewed for a position in the UT Governor's Office of Planning and Budget as a budget analyst...

I love your updates so much - so funny! Perhaps your fourth child will be an ugly one that you can yell at!
